Priya is a real chef and it shows on every plate. We had three guests with severe nut allergies and Salish Spread’s allergen documentation was thorough enough that one of those guests said it was the first event they could eat at without anxiety. Coastal seafood courses were exceptional. Service was unobtrusive and warm. The price is real but you’re paying for restaurant-caliber food at a wedding scale, which doesn’t exist most places.

We did my mom’s 60th at a private dining room with Salish Spread. Plated five-course tasting menu. Each plate looked and tasted like a top Seattle restaurant. Wren and Kai (the team that ran service) were excellent. Mom cried over the dessert course. I genuinely think Priya is one of the best chefs in Seattle.

Food was incredible. Service was excellent. The 4-star is for the booking process — Salish Spread is genuinely full and the inquiry/tasting/contract process took longer than I expected (~6 weeks before we were locked in). Worth it once we got there. Just plan further out than you think you need to.
